| Covered Wagon San Francisco, CA with Orange Goblin |
| There's something about bands with the word "pussy" in them. I've heard of ATP for quite a while but just never got around to checking them out. This Richmond, VA quintet has a few records out and some respect in the metal community. Big beards and riffs abound along with songs about your requisite booze, death, and rock and roll. Well, not really. |
| I went into this show pretty blind. I had downloaded one mp3, thought it was okay and worth the $8 to go check it out. Although this is a solid band, its a little to prog for me. Almost every song has on part of it with a huge riff that f*@kin' rips but then moves to a more strange chord progressive line that looses me. Tons of energy and headbanging from these boys, however made it worth the $8. |
| It was even darker than usual in the Covered wagon, but here's some pix I managed to get off at the show: |
