| No, it isn't a really large all you can eat dinner, its the craziest hip hop outfit on the East coast, Grand Buffet. |
| Lord Grunge, the self proclaimed "Don of alternative hip hop" and Grape-a-Don, "the king of the campground" weave clever pop culture laden lyrics with pop sensible, hip hop approved beats on their two self produced CDs, "Sparkle Classic" and "Scrooge McRock". These two pranksters also throw down an incredibly entertaining and action packed live show. |
| We spoke with Grand Buffet when they hit San Francisco on a West Coast tour. We shared some jokes, traded some rhymes and learned an awful lot about how the two man group takes it to the people with their two wireless microphones and sony minidisc player. |
| The rappers are big fans of doing things for themselves, whether it be recording and producing music, working the promotion machine through their website, (even though Pittsburgh is home, they claim to be from the internet), or creating their own artwork and graphics. They're also not afraid to freestyle about their love of technology and we have an exclusive MP3 here of the boys espousing the love of the web. |
| In between talking, we also found time to shoot a video with Grand Buffet for their hit song "Candybars". You can peep that here. |
