The Parkside San Francisco, CA
The Holiday Band is a bunch of guys who, for slected holidays, create a set of covers that kind of are related to said holiday, pick a bad pun also relating to said holiday for their name, and then go play in front of a lot of people. For St. Patrick's Day, they are Paddy-Oh Furniture, fro Christmas, they are Sleigher, and for Cinco De Mayo they are Gringo Star.
This year's Cinco de Mayo celebration was at the parkside and was filled o capacity with revelers dancing to such Latin favorites as "Livin' la Vida Loca", "Lowrider", and "Feliz Navidad"(?). As always, the band does a nice job entertaining, taking themselves not very seriously as they should but getting the job done musically and performance wise.
