Pier 30/32 San Francisco, CA w/ Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, NOFX, Lagwagon, and more
This is a great idea. Tons of pop punk bands playing together all day on 7 stages at staggered times so you dont miss anyone and can see everyone, info booths, sports demos, alternative entertainment and price it real cheap. Now that's my idea of a summer tour. Even if there are only two bands you want to see, this is still the tour to get to, cause the price is gonna be less than those two shows by themselves.
I went for more than 2 bands however. Now I'll always go see Anti-Flag, but there was Bad Religion, NOFX, Lagwagon, MXPX, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, plus a number of up and comers I've been hearing about, all made it worthwhile. Especially now that I know I dont want to pay a seperate price to see NOFX or Lagwagon or a number of other of these bands I've got on countless compilations.
I got there late on Saturday and only got to photograph Anti-Flag, which you can see here. I thought I would have all day Sunday for pictures but, the security wouldn't let me in with the camera even though the website said "no pro cameras". I didn't know my camera was only used by pros but oh well. Some extra snaps below.
